Terms and Conditions of SCHILLINGER (BDU)
on the Protection of Personal Data on the Website Contacts for Contracts (www.contactsforcontracts.com)

§ 1

These terms and conditions (hereinafter referred to as "TC") will inform you about how SCHILLINGER (BDU) will process and use your Personal Data in connection with your use of the website Contacts for Contracts (www.contactsforcontracts.com).

"Personal Data" in terms of these TC shall mean all data and/or information about your person.

"Platform" shall mean the website Contacts for Contracts (www.contactsforcontracts.com).

§ 2

Legal Framework for the Protection of Your Personal Data

SCHILLINGER (BDU) processes and uses your Personal Data in accordance with the laws and statutes on data protection of the Federal Republic of Germany and those of the European Union.

§ 3

In order for the Platform to function, SCHILLINGER (BDU) needs to collect, process and use certain Personal Data from you in the course of the registration process and during any of your logged-in visits on the Platform. This data consists of the following information:

After having entered and confirmed this registration data, SCHILLINGER (BDU) will send you an e-mail in which you will find a hyperlink for the activation of your account on the Platform. After this activation you may log in to the Platform.

After your registration, you may modify your registration data in the Platform's "Account data" area.

§ 4

Your contact data will be stored and maintained in the Platform's "Account data" area. Your contact data initially consists of your registration data. You can supplement this data by further contact information and also amend or delete this supplementary information later. You can also amend your registration data but not delete it.

The supplementation of your contact data by additional information will help you to create offers and requests on the Platform (cf. § 5.3 of these TC).

§ 5

Subject to the General Terms and Conditions of SCHILLINGER (BDU) for the Use of the Website Contacts for Contracts, the Platform provides its users with the opportunity to place business and product offers as well as requests for business contacts which may be accessed by other users of the Platform.

For the successful creation of offers and requests you have to enter the following data (mandatory fields):

Whether you want to create an offer or a request
The category of the offer or a request (by using the guidelines of the Platform)
Name of your company
Address and country of your company
Your sex for salutation purposes
Your name and surname
Telephone number
E-mail-address

In each case you create a new offer or request, the Platform will automatically insert the contact data you have stored in the relevant fields of the "Account data" area (cf. § 4.1 of these TC). Therefore, you can reduce your efforts resulting from the creation of new offers or requests by completing your contact data in the "Account data" area. However, in the form for the creation of new offers or requests, you can at any time amend or delete this automatically inserted data, provided that this data is not mandatory for the creation of the relevant offer or request (cf. § 5.2 of these TC).

The offers and requests which you have created and which SCHILLINGER (BDU) has released for publication (cf. § 4.3 of the General Terms and Conditions of SCHILLINGER (BDU) for the Use of the Website Contacts for Contracts) may be found and accessed by other users of the Platform. In case another user of the Platform accesses one of your offers or requests she/he can also access the contact data that you have inserted into the relevant offer or request.

§ 6

Search Functions

On the Platform, you can search for and access offers and requests of other users. But please note: You can only access the contact data of other users contained in their offers or requests if you are registered for a Premium-Account.

§ 7

Cookies are small computer programs which are stored by a website provider on the computer of a visitor of the relevant website, particularly in order to store and maintain certain configurations of the visitor.

After you have logged in to the Platform (with your e-mail-address and your password), SCHILLINGER (BDU) will store one (1) cookie on your computer in order to identify you during the course of your session. Upon the termination of your session the cookie will automatically expire.
If you activate on the homepage of the Platform the feature "remember login", SCHILLINGER (BDU) will store another cookie on your computer which will maintain your login data automatically available in the login form. If you have not deactivated the feature "remember login" earlier, this cookie will expire one (1) month after the activation of the feature.

If your internet browser configuration blocks cookies, this may lead to malfunctions in the course of the use of the Platform. We therefore recommend activating the cookies within your internet browser.

§ 8

Amendment of these TC

SCHILLINGER (BDU) reserves the right to amend these TC at any time, without giving reasons. SCHILLINGER (BDU) shall give to you due notice of any amendment of these TC. If you do not object to the applicability of the revised TC within two (2) weeks after receipt of said notice, the amended TC shall be deemed to be accepted by you. SCHILLINGER (BDU) shall inform you about your right to object and of the relevance of the objection deadline in said notice.
